Britax Chaperone –Coming soon!!!!!
Britax has a new infant seat coming to the market soon. As a previous owner of the Britax Companion infant seat, I’m excited Britax is coming out with a redesigned seat. We loved the Companion, however, my little one hated it. I’m guessing he hated the inflatable headrest. I am happy to see Britax has done away with the inflatable headrest. The Chaperone has true side impact (TSIP) wings instead of the headrest. I think that was a smart move for Britax. Another great feature of the Britax Chaperone is the anti-rebound bar on the infant seat base. Britax is the only manufacturer I have come across that offers a base with an anti-rebound bar. So can you get any better than TSIP and an anti-rebound bar….oh yes….did I mention, the Chaperone has a no re-thread harness! That’s right you can adjust the harness height without having to rethread the straps! The Chaperone is for use in the rear-facing position up to 30 lbs or 32 inches which ever comes first. So even though the Chaperone won’t be on the market for another month or two….spoilyourbaby.com recommends the Chaperone based on Britax’s reputation, the Chaperone’s awesome features, and our past experience with Britax’s infant seats.
