The Britax Frontier is a Harness/Booster Combo seat that harnesses your child from at least 2 years old and 25 lbs all the way up to 80 lbs or 53 inches, which every comes first. After you child outgrows the Frontier’s harness, you can remove the harness and use the Frontier as a LATCHABLE Booster Seat until your child is 60 inches and no longer properly fits into the seat (you can find the guidelines here). You can secure the Frontier in Booster mode to your vehicle using LATCH so you never have to worry about the booster becoming a projectile when not in use. The Frontier has True Side Impact Protection (TSIP) and you can adjust the harness height without rethreading the straps. The Frontier may be difficult to install in some vehicles so try it out in your vehicle before buying if possible. The Frontier is FAA approved so your child can be safely secured in the air and when you arrive at your destination.

The Britax Regent is the perfect 5-point harness car seat for those children who have outgrown their convertible car seats. The Regent is a forward-facing seat that can hold a child up to 80 lbs or 53 inches. The Regent is very spacious and comfortable. Be sure to read the manually carefully before installing the Regent. There are 2 different installation methods…be sure to use the correct one for your child’s size. This seat is not approved by the FAA and cannot be used in airplanes. Installation can be tricky, but a little extra installation time is worth the protection this seat provides.
