The Britax Marathon is another great seat from Britax. This seat is so easy to install which makes it super easy to move from one car to another. Just like the Boulevard, it rear-faces up to 35lbs and forward-faces up to 65 lbs or 49 inches. It also has push button LATCH connectors and the tether can be used both forward and rear-facing. However, the Marathon does not have the TSIP headwings and you do have to uninstall the car seat to adjust the harness height when it is in a forward-facing positon. The Marathon comes in a variety of cover designs and colors which makes it easy to match your car seat to your little one’s personality! Once again you can’t beat the Britax reputation.

The Britax Roundabout comes in at #3. Yes, all our top 3 favorites are made by Britax. (No, we don’t secretly work for their marketing team….we just really like their car seats!) The Roundabout is a great car seat for a family with compact vehichles. It is similar to the Marathon, but it is smaller which makes it easier to fit into a compact car. The only downfall to this smaller car seat is it has smaller weight and height limits. Your child will outgrow this seat much faster than the Boulevard and Marathon. The Roundabout rear-faces from 5-35 lbs and then can be forward-facing up to 40 lbs or 40 inches. Just to give you an idea….a lot of kids hit 40 inches around 3 years old. Spoil Your Baby would recommed choosing the Boulevard or Marathon if they will fit safely in your vehicle; however, the Roundabout is a great choice if space or cost is an issue.
